TRACEABILITY
Similar to Geta Bore and Duromina, but with some more intense floral characteristics, this is a lot you can't miss.
Gure Dako opened its doors for its first harvest season in the fall of 2019. Its location is ideal: at the southern end of the Agaro and Gera districts at more than 2,000 meters above sea level, in the same forests where the members of Nano Challa and Biftu Gudina grow and process their coffees. This area is also very close to the Goma border, home to Duromina and Hunda Oli. All cooperatives, as you already know, that produce exceptional coffees.
In 2012 Technoserve began its project to improve the lives of coffee growers in the region, through training and construction of various washing stations with the aim of improving quality to obtain better prices. Since then, several cooperatives have been born up in this area of Ethiopia, each contributing a unique cup character and profile that has its own name and prestige in the world of specialty coffee. Gure Dako is the new member of this select group of cooperatives and we invite you to try it!
